I'm an admin of an anime site called www.animestarr.co.cc and its an awesome site….It has the worlds subbed anime and has a good amount of dubbed. And im really disapponited because im not getting lots of visitors what should i do…?
What you can do is create accounts to other anime websites and advertise in your signature. If you're asked to remove it, remove it.
You can also create your own AMV for YouTube and advertise in the description. Or upload your favourite episodes to your favourite anime and advertise in their video description.
If you're totally serious about making your site grow and want to put 100% effort into it, then try advertising with Google.

I’m a staff member of an anime site called www.animestarr.co.nr which is a really great site for anime fans. It has everything from english dubbed animes to anime games and music. We seem to not get a lot of traffic and if that keeps up…the owner of the site is shutting it down..SO what can I do or YOU do to help me and the site out..?
For your generations efforts you would be placed on www.animestarr.co.nr staff member page….
I think you should make a squidoo lense about your site. Write a huge article about the contents of your site, what makes it different from other sites and why you think people should check it out. You can also add other modules to this lense as you see fit. I recommend Squidoo because it is a powerful marketing tool. A good, content-rich lense hast the potential to send a lot of traffic to your site – but don’t forget to include a link to your page somewhere in the lense ![]()
Another thing I would recommend you in order to get fast, free traffic is posting classified ads with a link to your site on craigslist and other free classifieds sites. You can also sign up for a gold membership on USFreeads (another popular classifieds site) for 10 Dollars a year. If you do this, you should write 25 smaller articles (you can use & alter the text from your squidoo lense – you don’t have to write everything anew. The Gold Membership also enables you to include picture in your ads. So you may want to include a screenshot of the site in some of these ads.) and link some of them to your website and the rest to the squidoo lense. This will increase the google rank of both the site itself and the Squidoo lense which links to your site anyway, thus drawing a huge amount of traffic to your site.
If you are really passionate about this site you speak of, you should be able to pull this off. Or in other words: Believe it!

This is the second one of my two random makes made in one day. Just like the other one, this has no story or point to it, just clips throw together. I may make a remake of this, but enjoy it while you can.

I don't really have a large budget (as of now, $0). My website is a freewebs; I just want more people to visit it. Yes, it does have something intresting- a novel that I'm working on which would probably appeal to the teens who like anime (violent ones like YuYu).
It's time consuming but you can do it free by hunting around on the web. You can start by googling for webmaster resources which will lead you to "link exchange" sites. There are many many resources for what you want to do on the web.
Link Exchange programs allow you to collaborate with other sites that have similar content. You put up a banner to bring traffic to their site, and vice-versa but it does get more complicated because obviously it's not a fair trade if you're just starting out, as the traffic they send you will be far greater. Eventually, by exchanging links with other sites, you can greatly increase traffic to your site.
The other thing to do is to manually register your site with search engines such as Google. While their bots do some of this automatically, it's best to get in there and give them the exact URL. Also, their webmaster pages will tell you how to optimize your html for greater effectiveness in terms of searching. The Google webmaster page, which includes a site submission link:
http://www.google.com/webmasters/
Next, there's a phrase/keyword in html called "keywords". Using this tag you specify what words you want people to find your page with, thru the search engines. This tag is used in the <head> section (after <head> and before </head>).
Here's an example:
<META name="keywords" content="electronics computers internet">
You can put as many keywords as you want in the content section. This will help a lot if you can come up with the right keywords that you want people to be able to find your pages on. Generally the keywords tag needs to be used only once, in the index.htm(l) page.
