has anybody tired the angel sounds fetal heart rate doppler?

my husband ordered me an angel sounds heart rate doppler off the internet as a surprise and i'm hoping he didn't waste his money.. has anyone tried this brand? I've heard of so many brands that dont work.. thanks for your feedback!!
i had one and couldnt find the heartbeat on it until i was almost 23 wks along. It was still really hard to find at that time. The easiest way is when you go to the dr find what postion the baby is sitting in and then that night search around the area where the dr found the heart beat
